Shahi Paneer VS Paneer Makhani

Shahi paneer and paneer makhani are both popular North Indian dishes that are made with paneer in a creamy, rich tomato-based gravy. But there are some differences between these two dishes.

Shahi paneer is typically made with a sauce that is flavored with almonds, cashews, and other different type of nuts, along with a blend of aromatic spices like cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom. The sauce is generally slightly sweet, and creamy, and has a milder taste compared to paneer makhani.

Paneer makhani, on the other hand, is made with a sauce that is tomato-based and has a slightly spicy, tangy flavor. The sauce is typically made with garlic, ginger, onions, and a blend of spices such as red chili and garam masala powder. It also contains cream, butter, and sometimes even honey for sweetness, which makes it richer and heavier than shahi paneer.

Overall, shahi paneer is a milder and creamier dish with a hint of sweetness, while paneer makhani is a tangy and spicy dish with a richer and heavier gravy. Both dishes are popular and delicious, and the choice between them ultimately comes down to personal taste preferences.
